BIO:
Bus
Stop Eddy is a big rock
in the middle of the Lower Haw
River in North Carolina just above
a rapid called Gabriel's Bend.
Savvy river runners would 'eddy
out' behind it to scout the rapid
below. Hurricane rains have washed
the rock away but the name remains.
Bus
Stop Eddy combines the talents
of Folk Funk Troubadour Eric Bannan
and Harmonica Virtuoso Dan Pasek.
Eric
has been a professional beach
bum, US Coast Guard rescue flight
crew, touring funk bassist and
a Tai Chi instructor. Eric brings
this and 25 years of performing
to the stage as a dynamic and
humorous entertainer. A spellbinding
story teller; his songs can invoke
the wonder of an Alaskan sunrise
or the longing of a windswept
beach in a deserted Florida tourist
town.

Dan
does not talk much, his harmonica
playing says it all. A seasoned
veteran with 30 years of gigs
under his belt, Dan is fluent
in many styles and his playing
is the perfect complement to Eric's
voice and energetic guitar and
mandolin playing.
With
influences that include John Prine,
Jimmy Buffet, James Brown, Miles
Davis, Muddy Waters and the Muppets,
Bus Stop Eddy serves up a dish
of Funky Contemporary Folk and
Humorous Blues.
